

I then tried to break the shader so it would just draw the blended result somewhere off-screen, this works for just walking around and taking screenshots, but fails once a bunch of effects get layered together. Unfortunately, it's drawn with no filtering, so that's not a satisfactory result. I've managed to rescale the noise in the shader. I've tracked its drawing down to ScreenQuadScaled_t2.vso. So far: I've confirmed my suspicion that it's a tiny (16圆4) generated noise tile that doesn't scale with resolution. Problem is, I have no idea what I'm doing, just a monkey pushing keys at random. I've just spent a day trying to tweak the film grain. You can now apply this to the original retail version also (it's out there but you'll need to find it yourself).įix the blue light shader using the fix provided by Guzz.įix the sky dome shader using the fix provided by Guzz. The limit to 60 FPS as fixed by GOG which fixes most of the problems with script timings which people see when their FPS is higher than this.
